The FluxFS application operates locally on your device. Your user data, including files and local settings, remains on your hardware and is never transmitted to our servers.

  • Hardware Information: When you enter a License Key, we collect a hardware ID from your device. The application periodically connects to our servers to validate this hardware ID against your active license to ensure compliance with our End User License Agreement (EULA).   • Bug Reports: You may voluntarily submit bug reports through the application. If you choose to do so and provide your explicit consent, the application will upload a snippet of your latest service log. We collect this log snippet, alongside any other diagnostic data or error logs you choose to include, strictly to help us identify and resolve the issue. 2. Data Collected on the Website

When you use fluxfs.com, we collect specific information to provide, secure, and improve our services:

  • Authentication: We use Google OAuth and email/password authentication. When you log in or register, we collect basic profile information, including your name and email address. For email/password registration, we securely hash your password and send verification emails to confirm your account.
  • Cloudflare: We utilize Cloudflare for site performance, security, and analytics. Cloudflare processes data regarding your interactions with our website, including IP addresses, system configuration, and routing data, strictly to protect and optimize our infrastructure.
  • Payment Information: We use Stripe as our third-party payment processor. When you purchase a License Key, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe.   • Cookies: Our website uses essential cookies required to maintain your login session securely and ensure the site functions properly.

3. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your data exclusively with the trusted third-party service providers listed above (Google, Cloudflare, Stripe) strictly to the extent necessary to operate our service, process transactions, and maintain security. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

4. Data Retention

  • Hardware IDs: We retain your device's hardware ID only for the duration of your active license. This data is deleted from our active records when the associated device is deactivated or the license is terminated/deleted.
  • Account Information: We retain your website account data for as long as your account remains active.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you possess specific rights regarding your personal data. You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
